1: Come up with a concept

Who do you want your character to be? This can be a name, a class, or even just some vibes. Some examples:

  • A wandering swordsman, made sharp in blade and mind by the harsh outer reaches of civilisation.
  • An heir to a throne, trained from birth in sorcery to rule over their kingdom.
  • A street urchin who got by in the big city with a silver tounge and a poisoned dagger.
  • An outlander chieftan, moved to action after a threat to their village.
  • A magic school droput with a half-filled spellbook and a penchant for destruction.

Choose a class, background and race.
